Love Kim and Robert, didn't like the DVD.Feb 19, 2011

Dear Kim and Robert, I always loved your work and hope you keep up the good work, but this time I'm a a little disappointed.
This DVD is called HOW to find real estate deals that make you money, and the only information that is usable is this: "If the deal sucks but you can improve it, its fine. If the deal look ok, it's probably ok. And if it looks bad leave it alone". Big Daaaah.
The DVD lacks deepness. There is no "how-to" look at these deals, crunch the numbers and have a clue how to procede. For example Kim mentions that if you can find why an electric bill it too high then you can improve it, by making your tenant pay for it. Ok you don't need a training dvd to understand that, but HOW would you do that? Send a letter to tenants? Start charging new tenants for electric? Rewrite the lease and wait until renewal and then renegotiate rent? Do you have any case studies, personal experiences. What about laws? Is there any state that forbids this? Did you ever lose tenants because of rewriting or ammending a lease? Thats the "HOW" which is completely missing.
I though this DVD was about HOW, but instead is a very generic dvd that tells you that if expenses (included vacancy %) are too high, leave the deal alone.
And the DVD is 45 min with at least 10 min of nothing while people play a game in groups which you don't see.
Like I said, love all the books and games thought my input might be useful.
